Postdoctoral Fellowships

We are currently seeking applications for postdoctoral research fellows. Two position are currently open. In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, fellows will be provided generous research funds (up $60,000; $30,000/year over two years) to allow them the freedom to creatively extend the core projects in novel directions or to work on complementary questions in independent experimental systems with active mentorship from one or more members of the UNVEIL network. Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact one or more project PIs to further refine their application materials. 

Review of applications will begin on December 1, 2018 and the position will remain open until filled. The appointment is a 12-month Letter of Appointment, and while the start date is flexible, a start date of January 15, 2018 is preferred.  The position renewable for up to two years.

Graduate Research Fellowships

We are currently seeking applications for two UNVEIL Diversity Fellowships will be available in the Fall of 2019 and will support one graduate fellow on each campus for a three-year tenure. We encourage applications from students broadly interested in the study of evolutionary adaptation in variable environments and genome-to-phenome connections and whose backgrounds are traditionally underrepresented in STEM fields. Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact one or more project PIs or other network members whose interests overlap with their own prior to submitting their application.  

In addition, several labs associated with the UNVEIL network are currently seeking graduate students to work on aspects of the core projects and other related projects. Applicants whose interests overlap with the core foci of the network are encouraged to check this page for a list of UNVEIL labs that are currently seeking graduate students and to contact the lab PIs to discuss opportunities.
